My painting  Angle in the museum hall

From May 25 until September 2019 my work ‘Angle’ is part of the summer exhibition Europa, in museum de Fundatie. It will be exposed in de Wolk. First my work had to pass several panels of judges.

The Utrecht Collectief presented six artists, all graduated at the Nieuwe Akademie Utrecht (NAU) in Frame the Galerie in Amersfoort. The opening was 23 february at 15h. Open 22 february – 31 march 2019, 13-17h. Artists: Ruud Lampe (paintings, drawings), Melanie Ouwehand (paintings, drawings), Harm Bruggewert (sculptures), Agatha van Amée (drawings), Roeland Heijne (paintings) and myself (paintings). We have a free figurative style in  common. Title was: ‘Say no more!’

Op 17 and 18 November my studio at Kleine Geertekerkhof 6 in Utrecht was open. Together with artist Tineke Brouwer. My painting ‘Angle’ was sold.

23 Octobre-27 Novembre – I participate in the course of six weeks about the relationship between contemporary art and politics. Catch words: Interregnum, Commons, Monsters. We got an assignment: a Foto essay with six photo’s, in response to the course. I will use this to formulate for myself what I will investigate forthcoming year regarding Painting. We had to choose the first photo from our phone or I pad (from last month) as a start. See below mine.
